Two specialties, one course, real savings


This bundle earns you two SSI specialty certifications in a single 2-day course: Deep Diving and Enriched Air Nitrox. Booked separately, those two courses cost $749 + $299 = $1,048 — this bundle is $929, a saving of $119. 

SSI Deep Diving Specialty: safely plan and conduct dives to a maximum depth of 40m — one of the two mandatory dives in the Advanced Open Water Diver program, and available here as its own full certification. You'll learn dive planning, risk recognition, your total diving system, and repetitive diving.

SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty: dive with enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen for longer bottom times, better safety margins, and shorter surface intervals — more time in the water, less time waiting on the surface.

Mandatory personal gear: you'll need your own SMB and reel for this course. Mask, snorkel, fins, gloves and boots are also on you, same as our other courses. Buy what you need through the Extras tab during booking, or in person on Day 1.



How the course runs

2 days (approx.), starting at 9:00 AM:

  • Deep Diving component: home study plus in-water training to a maximum depth of 40m
  • Enriched Air Nitrox component: home study plus in-class theory

This course needs a minimum of 4 students to commence.

Who can do this course

  • Minimum age 15
  • Must already hold an Open Water Diver certification or higher 

A dive medical check may be required if you:

  • Struggle to perform moderate exercise — for example, walk 1.6km (one mile) in 14 minutes, or swim 200m without resting — or have been unable to take part in normal physical activity due to fitness or health reasons within the past 12 months, or

  • Have had surgery within the last 12 months, or have ongoing problems related to past surgery, or

  • Are taking prescription medications (except birth control, or anti-malarial drugs other than mefloquine/Lariam)

If you fall into one of these categories, we can email you the Medical Questionnaire so you can review it before booking and have it signed by a physician before your course date.
